Grace City Church started its North Shore site in March 2018 with a small team and a big vision to see God shape us in order to shape the city of Chatswood and the surrounding area.

Since that time, we have seen God continue to add to our number and we are excited for all that lays ahead for us as a community.

If you are not already part of a church family, we would love to have you visit us on a Sunday morning!

We meet at the Dougherty Community Centre right in the heart of Chatswood, with coffee and morning tea starting at 10am and the service commencing at 10:15am.

Free Parking on local shopping centres

Feel free to "come as you are" - and you can expect to be warmly welcomed as together we spend time singing to God, encountering His presence, and hearing a Bible teaching.

There's always a group of us having lunch together after the service as well, with plenty of multicultural food options for us to choose from right at our doorstep!

We are led by the elders of Grace City Church and have a site leadership team helping us to outwork the vision of the church at a local level.

The team is made up of Adrian Tam (site leader), Hew Nunn (elder), Jessica Tam, Craig Milligan and Robyn Milligan.

What is Alpha?

Each week looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone's welcome.

FOOD

Food has a way of bringing people together and It's no different at Alpha. The sessions will start with a delicious brunch because it's a great way to build community and get to know each other.

TALK

The talks are designed to engage and inspire conversation. Usually around thirty minutes long. They explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions from Who is Jesus? and How can we have faith? to Why and how do I pray? and How does God guide us?

DISCUSSION

Probably the most important part of any Alpha: the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and simply discuss it in a small group. It's an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.

OUR VISION

Our heart for the kids of Grace City Church is to reach, teach, equip and grow each one into CITY SHAPING children, by looking for God to shape them with solid biblical foundations and the dynamic life of the Spirit.

Grace City Church welcomes kids of all ages.

During Sunday morning services, our younger children generally stay with us for the first half of the worship time, before going to their own activities.

GRACE KIDS ARE DIVIDED IN 2 GROUPS:

Creche

The creche is for children ranging from those who are discovering the joys of crawling to kids aged around 3 yrs. The kids in creche spend their time playing with toys, doing basic crafts, reading stories and singing songs.

3 plus yrs

The 3 plus group is a lively group of young children. We spend our time playing games and making Sunday fun. We also have times of worship and Bible studies making things as engaging and practical as possible.
