What Can You Expect?

Come with the expectation to encounter God, both through worshipping Him and through Bible teaching

We encourage everybody to contribute during the worship time, and we welcome the gifts of the Holy Spirit as described in 1 Corinthians 14.

We will often follow our Bible teaching with ministry and prayer

We encourage baptism in the Holy Spirit and often pray for people for physical and emotional healing

Our meetings always conclude with refreshments and time for friendship, as we believe the church is not a meeting, but a community of people living their lives together and growing in God.

Our heart for the kids of Grace City Church is to reach, teach, equip and grow each one into CITY SHAPING children, by looking for God to shape them with solid biblical foundations and the dynamic life of the Spirit.

Grace City Church welcomes kids of all ages. There are children's programs for every age group on Sunday mornings and other activities going on during the week.

During Sunday morning services, our younger children generally stay with us for the first half of the worship time, before going to their own activities.

Each group would like to tell you a little bit about themselves:

Créche is for children ranging from those who are discovering the joys of crawling to kids aged around 3 yrs. The kids in creche spend their time playing with toys, doing basic crafts, reading stories and singing songs.

Rockets is for children aged 3 to 5 years old. It is a lively group of young children. We spend our time playing games and making Sunday fun. We also have times of worship and Bible studies making things as engaging and practical as possible.

GraceKidz is for kids from Kindy to Year 3. We are a very energetic and fun loving group. We follow a regular program that aims to teach kids Bible truths and learn how to apply these in our everyday lives. We do this through worship, Bible stories and games. We are a pretty lively bunch, and we love having new people come to join us.

"In "426" as tweens, we are considering what it means to be a Christian from a tween perspective. We are wanting to understand more about God and also to have opportunities to experience Him for ourselves. Sometimes we help by serving in other areas of the church and sometimes go out into the community. Playing games, having fun and learning about how we can serve practically in our church is what we are about."

180 Youth

180 Youth is THE fortnightly group for teens. We are mostly around grades 7-12. Every second week, we will stay in with the rest of the congregation during a church service. When we do go off by ourselves, we tend to pick up the main points of the main service and look at them from a teenage perspective. We also catch up and hang out on Friday nights at Collaroy Plateau. 180 Youth is the church Youth Group for high school aged young people.
