Community Foodcare enables low income earners and those who need support to access groceries at a low fee and to get bread, fruit & vegetables free of charge.

We aim to provide this service to all in need, regardless of who they are and where they come from, and to make our centre a place of dignity, love and care. The Foodcare centre also provides a free café, which is a wonderful point of community connection that enables clients to build friendships, to feel that they belong and have value.

Those who have a Centrelink benefit card, who are referred by a welfare agency or are just in need of some support, are able to register at Community Foodcare for $2 a year. This then enables them to access our services on a weekly basis.
